ST PATRICKS WEEKEND FESTIVAL
This is the biggest St Pat’s weekend the North East has seen for years.

ST PATS EVE FRIDAY 16th

The Irish Centre has a special welcome for our many visitors with a new duo -  Danny Carthy and Joe Giltrap (both natives of Co. Kildare) plus excellent group, Brewed Slowly playing upstairs.  Joe is well-known to readers of the Irish Post from his lively weekly column and Danny was half of the famous Fiddlers Green. Tickets are £5 and include a free drink sponsored by GUINNESS.
Also on Friday the 16th there is a St.Patrick’s Dinner and “shindig” at St. James’s Park.  Tickets are £20 from NUFC banquets on 0191 2018525. Included is a three - course meal, welcome drink, ceili, Irish dancers and disco. The raffle will be for the benefit of the Tyneside Irish Cultural Society with many great prizes.

ST. PATRICKS DAY

10.30am St. Patrick’s Day Mass at St Michaels, Westmorland Road. Celebrated by the Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle the Right Reverend Kevin Dunn

12noon Irish Centre opens....Strictly members only!
1pm  Ceili in the Concert Room with the Tony Corcoran Band.

When you get your breath back, come back to the Irish Centre for The Final Fling. From 8.15 -9.15pm CRAICING QUIZ with a chance to win a holiday weekend for two in Galway including flights from Newcastle on the new AER ARRAN route. 9.30- 11pm Music with Tony Corcoran and festival guests.
